About Us

Welcome to Aspire Recovery Connection, a service dedicated to helping individuals find their way back to self-belief and connection. Being a 100% lived experience team, we understand that it can be difficult to take that leap of courage and seek help, especially when there are so many other services out there to choose from. But we believe that our approach is unique and has a truly positive impact on people’s lives. We focus on building real connections with our community, meeting them where they are and helping them rediscover their own self-belief.

At ARC, our team is made up of individuals who have lived through their own mental health challenges and have come out on the other side, centred, curious about life and passionate about supporting others. We know first-hand what it’s like to navigate the sometimes confusing and overwhelming world of mental health care (mental health or NDIS?), and we’re here to share our knowledge and experience with you. We know that belief in each other and authentic connection are transformative. We have this to share, and we are ready to help you on your healing journey.

What services do we offer?

At Aspire Recovery Connection, we offer a range of services to support you on your journey towards recovery. Our Recovery Coaching and Support Coordination services help you navigate the NDIS, ensuring that you have access to the supports and therapies that are important and meaningful to you. They are designed to help you get the most out of your NDIS plan and support your personal recovery of mental and emotional distress.

Our Peer Mentors provide Core Support services, supporting your mental and emotional wellbeing whilst helping you connect with the community around you, exploring new things, learning new skills and getting your essential weekly tasks done.

We also offer counselling services (including NDIS Counselling) that provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings and our therapeutic groups offer the opportunity to connect with others who understand what you’re going through.

Our founder Danni’s story is one that many of us can relate to – struggling with mental and emotional distress for many years and feeling a loss of hope for recovery and a deep sense of loss of herself.

For her, the turning point came when she stopped blaming herself for having a ‘mental illness’ and there being something inherently wrong with her and instead connected with people who helped her to turn her efforts towards fostering self-compassion and acceptance . A big part of this was forming meaningful and authentic connections with others who have had similar experiences and understood what she was going through. This experience was transformative, and it inspired Danni to start Aspire Recovery Connection so that others can be supported along their emotional healing journey by being in authentic and compassionate connection with themselves and others.

Are you looking for a supportive community?

Our community is a welcoming and inclusive space where you can connect with others who understand what you’re going through. We believe that by sharing our experiences and supporting each other, we can all achieve greater healing and wellbeing.

So if you’re looking for a supportive and understanding community to help you on your journey towards recovery, we invite you to join us at Aspire Recovery Connection. We’re here for you every step of the way.
